The thing is, that sign isn't unreasonable if one just doesn't think along those lines at all, and is focused on the Platonic purity of God's love, or whatever. (It does suggest the value of having one's ideas vetted by someone who has a somewhat different viewpoint from oneself.) But I can't think of any point of view from which the current sign isn't over-the-top. All those exclamation marks..!
