There are a lot of blue (i.e., Conservative) lawn signs in my neighborhood.

A friend of mine chatted with our Conservative candidate at her door for a few minutes. The best thing that candidate was able to say about Rob Ford, his own party leader, was "He's not his brother." Well, yay for that.

We both know what the problem is with "He's not his brother", don't we.

Shonokin and I saw an apartment on Bronson in which somebody had filled all of their windows with homemade election signs (like you couldnt see in at all). They had also covered the utility pole in front of their house with homemade (and mostly handwritten, in tiny print) election signs.

Probably not a good resource for legalities though: Bruce and I could not tell whether they were pro or against any specific candidate or whether they were followers of the people who think politicians are literally lizard people aka reptilian overlords. Also they thugh Justin Trudeau was the worst, but it wasnt clear whether they were approaching that from the lift or right side of the fence or just again riding the no specific side conspiracy train.

it was somewhat entertaining but we walked by as quickly as we could so we werent risking the author coming to talk to us.

I remember seeing some signs like that, a decade or more ago. They were somewhat like the text equivalent of the stream of muttering by someone suffering badly from schizophrenia. No way to know if it was by the same person, I suppose.
