I could have sworn that there was a scene in the Trek Classic episode "Obsession" in which we got to see people firing phasers into the vampire gas cloud as it was attacking guys in red shirts.  It turns out that this isn't the case.  I had to settle for a less dramatic image.

Completedly unrelated but I have booked a room for Farthing Party.
Rate is $139 a night, not $129 but it's the rate Jo posted in the community so I accepted it.

Course for the same price (or possibly less - depending of which of two rooms was available either $120 or $140 a night) we could get free wi-fi and continental breakfast included.

At the guest house across the street that is.
