mentisiterinvit's rather dim white kitty staring intently at nothing-at-all on the floor... then slowly reaching out a paw and then trying to claw at the nothing-at-all as though she was trying to swat a bug. It's not the first time I've seen her do such things.
My first thought was to wonder if she suffered from schizophrenia, or perhaps the DTs. Then it occurred to me that she might have "floaters" in one eye or the other, and interpreted them as something on the floor.
