Well, they don't seem to have nipples or appear at all that individualized, so I'm going to say it's just flab.

having lived around artistic types most of my life & done a dabble or two myself -
most overweight males develop a pseudo breast like flab. it's where fat gets deposited. and there's muscles that won't allow similar amounts of fat to build up (and other things - bones ligaments cartiledge) in an even layer from the shoulders to base of torso. look at the buddhas sometime. looks to me like C has just been eating too much & too well.
