On the chance that some of my friends might be interested... I found out on Tuesday evening that Michael Cass-Beggs passed away in late June. Michael was a good and talented man, who led a variety of choral groups and was otherwise active in many musical activities; he gave his time generously for good causes. There's to be a memorial service for him on Thursday, August 2nd, starting at 7 p.m., at the Unitarian Church at 30 Cleary Ave. People are invited to share their music, sing-along style.
