The current cost estimate for needed renovations to the prime minister's residence at 24 Sussex Drive is approximately $310 million.

That's $10 million for the repairs, and the rest to remove the occupant so the work can be done.

And I suppose leaving him there until the walls collapse, the electrical system burns the house down, or he dies of lung cancer are not viable options? :(

Unfortunately, that kind of event can be used in the same way that "the Reichstag fire" in Weimar Germany was -- an excuse to extirpate democracy and freedom.
